Cost: Free....however any donations to NEOESR will be gladly accepted.
Sign Up: If you plan to attend, please let us know at email@example.com. It's ok if you show up without signing up or sign up and do not come. We are just looking for a rough head count.
Food: Hamburgers and hot dogs and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Those willing to bring additional items, such as salads or desserts, should contact firstname.lastname@example.org. There is a restaurant immediately next door to the picnic site where those who wish to may purchase grinders or pizza or even sit down for lunch.
Activities: This year's picnic site has a large fenced play area with plenty of room for dogs and their people to run and play as well as an on-leash area. There is a pond for swimming for dogs and their people and several boats will be available. The Parade of Rescues will recognize OES rescues from the last year.
We will have CGC testing (CGC is now a title rather than just a certificate). If you think you might want to have your dog do CGC testing please email email@example.com.
We plan to have a grooming demonstration and we hope to have a photographer. We will have a Board meeting.

LODGING: We recommend the Red Roof Inn in Mystic - New London CT phone: 860-444-0001. A block of rooms has been set aside for us with a special rate. When you call Red Roof you must tell them you are with "Sheepdog Rescue New England". You must book the room before May 20th to get the group rate.

DINNER: There will be a dinner at the Log Cabin Restaurant next to the picnic site at 5:00 p.m. the day of the picnic. If you wish to attend or would like to see a copy of the menu contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Individual checks will be given at the end of the meal.
Volunteers: We will need volunteers to help with set up, parking, cooking, selling raffle tickets, clean up, etc. and a volunteer to babysit for dogs during the dinner after the picnic. Those willing to volunteer should contact Glenn McGeough at email@example.com
